HOW MUCH DOES A PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION COST?

HOW LONG DOES THE PRE-EMPLOYMENT PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION TAKE?

The evaluation, including testing and interview, can take up to 5 hours. Please plan ahead to allow the full five hours for your appointment.

WHAT IS THE EVALUATION LIKE?

The evaluation is comprised of the following measures:

Psychologist’s review of the job description for the position sought
Psychologist’s review of any personal history statements provided by you or your department
Psychologist’s review of your background documents and information
Administration of at least two tests, one which measures personality traits and one which measures psychopathology
Face-to-face interview with the psychologist after the tests have been scored

A portion of the testing is computer-based. If you require any testing accommodations, please inform the office staff prior to beginning testing. During the testing process, you will sit at one of several desks in our testing room. While testing, you may take a break at any time.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO MY EVALUATION APPOINTMENT?

Please bring your Driver’s License, along with the completed Background Questionnaire (provided to you either by your department or by the Office Administrator upon scheduling your appointment), and any other forms required by the referring agency.

HOW DO I GET TO YOUR OFFICE?

Our office is in the Heritage Office Park at the corner of Heritage Park Drive and Bagdad Road. Suite 104 is next door to All State Insurance. If you are driving north on Bagdad Road from 1431 / Whitestone and pass Kettering Drive, Leander High School, and/or A.C. Bible stadium, you’ve gone too far and need to turn around.

Google Maps does better with the address 2301 S. Bagdad Rd. Cedar Park, TX 78613. If you use this address with Apple Maps, it will likely take you to 2301 S. Bagdad Rd. in LEANDER – even if you manually type in Cedar Park. This is incorrect. Our office is located in CEDAR PARK. The Leander address is a duplex residence and is not our office.

If you use the address 2301 Bagdad Rd. Cedar Park, TX 78613, Apple Maps and Google Maps will likely direct you to a random location on Audra St. near Bagdad Park. This is incorrect.

I'M WORKING ON MY DPS LEVEL IV ENDORSEMENT. DO YOU DO THE MMPI TEST FOR THAT?

We do! The MMPI is one of the tests administered as part of the psychological evaluation.

DO YOU PROVIDE COUNSELING OR THERAPY?

At this time, we do not provide counseling or therapy services.
