PRE-EMPLOYMENTÂ PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATION
Psychological evaluations provide information that is invaluable in assessing the potential risks, personality weaknesses/strengths, and emotional health of employees in critical jobs.

The pre-employment psychological evaluation consists of a clinical interview, an extensive background questionnaire, and two psychological tests, one which measures personality traits and one which measures psychopathology. Evaluations also take into consideration factors deemed to be important by the department requesting the evaluation, including each department’s unique mission, vision, and values.
WELLNESS EVALUATIONS
Wellness evaluations assess the ongoing emotional health for police officers and first responders.

Wellness evaluations serve to proactively identify and address any psychological concerns for police officers and first responders who are exposed to repeated traumatic situations and events as part of their job. The evaluation consists of a background questionnaire, several screening tools to check for mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use disorders, and an interview with the Psychologist.
FITNESS FOR DUTY EVALUATIONS
Fitness for Duty evaluations assess an officer or first responder’s psychological suitability to return to work or their continued ability to function on the job.

A Fitness for Duty evaluation is often initiated by a department, agency, or state board who is responsible for protecting the public from employees who are not fit to provide services or who may cause harm to themselves or others. It may also be sought by an employer who is concerned about an employee's well-being and ability to function on the job. The evaluation consists of a battery of psychological tests and an interview with the psychologist. Based on information and data gathered, the psychologist will provide feedback to the requesting department regarding the employee’s psychological suitability to return to work, as well as a recommendation of necessary conditions to facilitate a successful return to work.
