BRANDY MILLER, PH.D., P.C.
Owner, Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Brandy Miller is a Clinical Psychologist (Texas License #32835) specializing in psychological assessment. Dr. Miller is an Austin native and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992 with a BA degree in English Literature. She later earned her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. After her Post-Doctoral Fellowship at the Children's Medical Center of Dallas, Dr. Miller began her career in 2005 with Lehman & Associates as a staff psychologist. During her tenure, she conducted over 2500 psychological assessments for more than 100 Dallas/Fort Worth area police, fire, and EMS departments. In 2010, Dr. Miller returned to the Austin area. Since then, she has grown her practice in Cedar Park, focused primarily on psychological assessment and wellness services for public safety agencies and academies (police, corrections, EMS, fire, state, and federal security agencies). Dr. Miller currently provides psychological consultation and assessment services to more than 50 agencies in the Central Texas area and beyond.
MICHELLE WRIGHT, PSY.D.
Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Michelle Wright is a Clinical and Forensic Psychologist (Texas License #39085) who has done both assessment and therapeutic work in a variety of settings. While originally from the West Coast, Dr. Wright is proud to call Texas her home. Dr. Wright received her BA in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound in 2004. She earned a Masters and Doctorate in Clinical and Forensic Psychology from Alliant International University in 2012 and 2013, respectively. Dr. Wright has worked in a variety of settings including crisis centers, substance abuse treatment facilities, corrections, private practice, legal, and with law enforcement. She has served as an evaluator, a therapist, and an expert witness. Most recently Dr. Wright has provided pre-employment assessment and psychotherapy with the Texas Department of Public Safety in Austin. Dr. Wright is proud to join Dr. Miller in continuing to provide psychological services to first responders and law enforcement agencies in the Central Texas region.
JENNIFER WHITE

Practice Director
Jennifer is a native Texan and 15+ year resident of the Austin area. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Texas at Austin. Jennifer worked for the State of Texas for several years as a case worker for Child Protective Services and later a background check specialist for Child Care Licensing before transitioning to private employers. Over the past decade, Jennifer has held positions primarily in management and operations. Jennifer’s entrepreneurial spirit and love of Austin “start-ups” led her to become the Director of Production for an Austin-based cookie delivery company. Most recently, Jennifer was the Director of Operations for an Austin-based brain energy supplement CPG start-up. With her years of experience in management, operations and customer service, Jennifer ensures the SafeGuard Psychological office runs smoothly and efficiently.
ADAM WHITE
Director of Information Technology
Adam White, an Austin area native, serves as the Director of Information Technology for the practice and oversees all technology needs. He has over twenty years of IT experience and has held a variety of positions with companies ranging from local tech start-ups to multi-national organizations. His experience spans hardware and software maintenance, technical support, systems infrastructure, data warehousing and business intelligence, and all programming and dev ops needs in between. The expanse of knowledge and experience Adam brings to our practice ensures we have the technology and infrastructure required to provide the best possible service for our clients.
